I wanted to try a few beers again and I was really surprised at how good this beer was. The flavor is great and I don’t think I ever had beer this fresh. Very good stuff!

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 15, 2009 I sampled this beer on tap at the brewpub in New Orleans. The beer had a dark brown color with an amber hue and a moderate, creamy off-white head that had modest retention and cling. The beer had some grainy and grassy hops aroma with a bit of caramel malt too. A somewhat bitter hoppy beer with mild sweetness too. It was a bit watery and thinner with lower carbonation and a dry finish. sebletitje (1925), Tampa, Florida, USA
