Crescent City Pilsener

I sampled this beer on tap at the brewpub in New Orleans. It had a clear gold color with a decent sized, foamy white head with moderate retention and little cling. The aroma was a slight crisp malt with some floral and grainy hops. The flavor was lightly bitter with a touch of sweetness, featuring some grainy hop tastes and a bit of malt. The beer was somewhat watery with average carbonation and a lighter mouthfeel.

sample at brewpub, NOLA. pours clear golden, white head. aroma and taste, flroal hops, pilsener malts with light bitter finish and malty. Regular pilsener with not much else to it.

On tap at pub. Golden pour with small head. Light malt nose with good hop aroma. Flavor is light and tickles the palate. No real depth of flavor, but refreshing on a hot day.

Golden with a wispy white head, mild lacing. Effervescent. Aroma is mild. Has a timid malt body with a crisp bitter noble hops finish. Fairly lacking in body. Medium with a nice lingering bitterness.

On tap at the brewhouse. Malt and apples in the aroma with a typical Euro-pilsenser skunk. Flavor is much of the same with a slight bitterness from the hops. Solid pilsener, but nothing really new.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and straw color. Aroma is Euro lager, lemon/nice skunk. Taste is Euro lager, lemon/nice skunk, secondary saaz/spice hops. Dry finish.

Light golden body, medium-sized, puffy white head. Aroma is grassy with some herbal notes. Moderately hoppy and sweet flavor. Finishes dry. Pretty good pils.

Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of flowers, hay, dry pilsner malt. Tastes dry and malty with a peppery splash on the finish.
