Hop aroma and flavor was probibly stronger then sytle; but that’s what i liked about this one. The hops were balanced well with the malt. Overall flavor and impression is reason for the higher score then the average shown. Nate (2569), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Draught sample from brewery. Mild pilsner nose with light beany malt and fresh noble hops aroma. Golden yellow clear with thin lacing head. Medium-light body with heavy carbonation. Starts with light pils malt, fresh bitter-grassy hops. Beany. Bitter lasting and quite heavy for a pils. Lasts well into the after. Not as crisp at classic German pils, but good. Sample Tasting - Pale yellow white head. Citrus, grassy notes. Bitter but not horrible... steeped grains, green wort flavor. Hops finish.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Light as hell. Light Pilsner? Slightly skunky hop bitterness, undermalted, too transparent in color, no head, no mouthfeel. Weak. One bartender described this as a light beer. He also said that about their hefeweizen, which is sad, clearly no beer training in effect at Crescent City. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2007 Clear pale gold with a moderate bubbly white head. Clean grassy aroma (in contrast to 2 of the other beers I tried here). Clean pale malts with a crisp bitter hoppy finish. A solid pilsener. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 9, 2007 I guess this is in house swill so to speak. A golden color with a moderate head. Pretty weak from beginning to end. Some grass in the nose. The flavor has very little going on with a hint of lemons and corn. Overall pretty dull but it beats BMC by a tad.
