Draft... Crystal clear, sunshine yellow lager with a large, frothy, white head. Excellent retention. Terrific, ink-blot lacework. The aroma and flavor are of aluminum and detergent. Bitter, but not hop-bitter... metal-bitter. A little chicken broth in the aroma. Light-bodied and astringent with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, metallic, bitter finish. Not much better than your standard BMC.

A beer that with a few tweeks has the potential to be a great bavarian style pils. Not too dry or hoped, but needs more malt to it. I suspect the New Orleans water is a little too clorinated or something, but the idea of a less hoped pils is good.

Draught at Crescent City Brewery, New Orleans.
Pale yellow beer with no head. Nice and fresh aroma, mild hoppy with flower tones. Pretty flavorfull for a pilsener. Hops and malt with flower notes. Refreshing.

nice light gold color, well-carbonated. aroma is of lightly spicy/floral noble hops and clean maltiness. flavor shows the same excellent malt/hop balance, with a great finishing crispness. very good pils.

Brewpub swill....this is their answer to guy who walks in and asks for a coors light or asks which of their beers is most similar to their favorite BMC. Lots of adjunct in this beer, no character at all.

Very "lively" light body with straw scent to it. Virtuallly no head, but hey it's a pils. Good for the style, but little to no complexity in the character.

Very pale yellow with fizzy bubbles and a light, sweet aroma. Very light body with a surprising amount of bitterness. More of a bite to this beer than your average macro-wanna-be. Tasty and refreshing, especially since in New Orleans you can buy a big plastic cup of this and just walk around the streets in the languid humidity, drinking.

Pale yellow, but has a nicely lacing white head. Lightly sweet with green apple notes and an oaty, grainy flavor. Good crisp hop finish.
