Jun 7, 2004 nice light gold color, well-carbonated. aroma is of lightly spicy/floral noble hops and clean maltiness. flavor shows the same excellent malt/hop balance, with a great finishing crispness. very good pils.

Nov 18, 2008 Light golden body, medium-sized, puffy white head. Aroma is grassy with some herbal notes. Moderately hoppy and sweet flavor. Finishes dry. Pretty good pils.

Oct 12, 2008 Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of flowers, hay, dry pilsner malt. Tastes dry and malty with a peppery splash on the finish.

May 10, 2003 Pale yellow, but has a nicely lacing white head. Lightly sweet with green apple notes and an oaty, grainy flavor. Good crisp hop finish.

May 20, 2003 Very pale yellow with fizzy bubbles and a light, sweet aroma. Very light body with a surprising amount of bitterness. More of a bite to this beer than your average macro-wanna-be. Tasty and refreshing, especially since in New Orleans you can buy a big plastic cup of this and just walk around the streets in the languid humidity, drinking.

Apr 8, 2008 Draught sample from brewery. Mild pilsner nose with light beany malt and fresh noble hops aroma. Golden yellow clear with thin lacing head. Medium-light body with heavy carbonation. Starts with light pils malt, fresh bitter-grassy hops. Beany. Bitter lasting and quite heavy for a pils. Lasts well into the after. Not as crisp at classic German pils, but good.

May 7, 2008 On tap at the Crescent City Brewhouse, NO. Clean gold with thin lacings. Hop aroma and flavor was probibly stronger then sytle; but that’s what i liked about this one. The hops were balanced well with the malt. Overall flavor and impression is reason for the higher score then the average shown.
