Crested Butte New World IPA

Draft: Rich and malty IPA. Great texture. Sweet toast and complex grains. Light fruit and some flowers. Interesting chocolate-orange element. Tasty.

Draught. Head is mostly lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot, grapefruit), with a very strong note of butter/diacetyl. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Too bad about the diacetyl.
