Commercial Description:
Cricket Hill American Ale is an easy drinking “amber” ale with a wonderful balance of caramel sweetness and hop flavor. The aroma has a slight note of citrus and rock candy. There is not an imported ale on the market that tastes this fresh.

Pours a deep clear auburn with a steady thin stream of bubbles wandering up from the bottom. Phenomenal head, huge, puffy and creamy, really incredibly nice-looking stuff. Nose lightly hoppy, some citrus. Quite hoppy flavor, lots of sweetness and bready malts. Creaminess of the head carries over to the palate, nice mouthfeel as well.

Medium-big head atop a clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some mustiness. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, orange peel, some caramel. Medium bitterness. Light-medium body. Decent, thoughthe sweetness is not quite offset by the bitterness.

Thin head but quickly diminishing. Nice aroma with light hops and a bit of citrus (orange). Flavor is malty and sort of dry. Golden orange in color. Nice bitterness shows up at the finish with a nice hops finish and aftertaste. A decent amber ale.

Mellow caramel bready malts with a floral hop finish. Nice dull copper penny color, short head and some lacing. Good aroma - floral sweet. Found this at Circle Liquors in Pennington, NJ.

RERATE: bumping up a few things after a second round with this refreshing ale! ORIGINAL: A solid ale. Very fresh and lively even after having several beers prior. Certainly a good go-to beer.

On tap. Poured a medium amber color. Hoppy and malty aroma and tastes. Couldn’t really pick anything special out of it although I enjoyed the overall taste.
