Sep 20, 2008 Bottle from Decaturstevo. Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma of wet crystal malt grains. Light to medium bodied with a British esque texture, mouthfeel, and carbonation. Flavor of wet grains and toffee, countered by a moderate spicy bitterness that carries through to the finish.

Aug 12, 2008 12oz bottle, thanks jcwattsrugger. Pours hazy amber in color with white head. Aroma caramal, malty and light citrus hops. Taste of malty and light citrus hops and bitter finish.

Jul 31, 2008 On tap at Capones. Pours a translucent amber with a large foamy off white head that laced. Aroma of caramel malt, light toffee and some citrusy hops. Flavor of caramel malt, light hop bitterness and flavor. Light pine and citrus notes. Nothing special, but sessionable.

Jul 30, 2008 My first Cricket Hill beer. Caramel on the nose and flavor. Decent malty finish as well. Not too bad, just not super exciting.

Jul 17, 2008 This beer smelled of grass, hops and peat. After the amber pour and white head settled I was able to take a sip. It was bitter upfront and then settled into a more subtle malt flavor. It wasn’t too sweet and left a bitterness in my mouth.

May 5, 2008 Bottle: Poured an amber color with a nice white head. The aroma was some malt and caramel. The flavor was some caramel, toffee, and sugar. Overall, a decent beer from an up and coming brewery.
