Aroma of light oak, vanilla, whiskey, chocolate, mild roast. Taste has chocolate, roast, vanilla, mild oak tannins and a touch of whiskey. Being that this was a porter and not a big stout I was thinking that the barrel and whiskey may have overpowered the taste but that wasn’t the case at all. It was very well integrated, well balanced and added some really nice flavor and aroma to an already solid porter. Well done. HoppityHop (106), New Jersey, USA
