| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Pours amber in color with a creamy white head and beautiful lacing. Everything about the appearance of this beer made me want to drink it. Aroma is floral hops, but the taste is balanced nicely between the hops and sweet malts. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 31, 2008 On tap at Capones. Pours a hazy orange amber with a large foamy off white head that laced. Aroma of citrus, cereal grains, malt sweetness, fresh hops. Flavor is smooth and balanced. Fresh hops meet caramel malt sweetness, peppery notes and some tropical fruits. Light amber body with a fleeting, white head above.
Restrained malt aroma.
Well balanced mixture of hops & malt in the flavor with a soft, dry finish. sleepylopes (313), New York, USA

Clean golden/amber pour with a tight foamy off white head. Flavor of semi sweet malt and a good finishing bitter. Just a tad thin but carbonation is good. Very solid refreshing drinker. puzzl (2635), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Bottle at Joe’s. This was labeled "cask ale". Cask ale my ass. Bears no relation to cask whatsoever. Harsh carbonation, lots of crystal, with ugly hops. Going into this thinking you’ll be drinking some kind of cask bitter and then ending up with an altbier is an unpleasant shock to say the least. It’s lke thinking you’re about to take a sip of beer and ending up with gasoline.
