Pleasant aroma of caramel malt and just a bit of citrus hops. Caramel malt and hops also in the flavor, with the hops a bit noticeable than in the aroma. Moderate hops bite at the swallow which lingers briefly afterwards. JoeMcPhee (5043), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Pale amber orange beer. Earthy aroma, some orange peel and a lot of apple/pear fruitiness. Flavour is okay, pale malt that seems a bit too bland for this type of brew. Earthy hops, some orange peel. Low to moderate bitterness. An okay brew, but not a great example. TheEpeeist (1494), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2007 Philly Craft Beer Festival. Small plastic sample cup. Clear amber, minimal head. Mild caramel and faint hops. Light flavor but strong, restrained bittering. Just enough body and carb to make a nice drinker. Arayaga2 (999), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2007 hazy, honey colored, this is an off-bitter with a slightly salty, moderately sweet taste. It is rather smooth and easy to drink, but still not among my favorites. HoppityHop (105), New Jersey, USA

The amazing aroma of all things earthy and hoppy is really where things start to take off for this authentically flavored, mildly carbonated ale that is very easy to drink for the style. Beautiful copper color, too. Cricket Hill got this one right, that’s for sure! thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Updated: Dec 1, 2006This draft brew from the brewerye poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized yellow brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow-orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and caramel malt. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The off tasting flavor contained notes of malt and was metallic. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
