Pours an amber/orange hue, nice color but hardly any head. Dirty earthy scent, soily and bitter citrusey hops are evident. Decent body, a resiny citrus aspect is there. Definitly lemon suggestions, with a long earthy bitter finish. Not bad.

Their Staff at the fest informed me this is indeed intended to be an ESB despite the somewhat reserved attributes. Appearance: Amber with ruby hues and off-white head. Smell: Reserved hops and fruit with a hint of caramel. Taste: Gentle and approachable the balanced hop malt flavor is pleasant but not impressive. Dry finish. Mouthfeel: It is a bit more thin than I would have expected or desired. Still not bad. Drinkability: This beer is not very impressive but it is easy drinking. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

On draft at brewery with Beeded_one and a share holder of the company all by ourselves pretty cool, poured deep amber with a decent sized light beige head. Aroma of citrusy hops, slight fruit, and sweet malts. The flavor is mildly bitter, citrus, fruit, and caramel malts. Good body, good brew.

on tap at Egan & Sons, Montclair. color is a medium/dullish copper, short tan creamy head. aroma is earthy hops, and flowery/perfumy. flavor is earthy hops and dryish bitter, with a little caramel malt in the far background. nice for the style, and a pleasant surprise from a local NJ brewery.

On tap at the brewery. A fine bitter. Definitely their best beer. They should release this in bottles as well. A fine session beer. Had a few of these on my first happy hour of the year. A good balance in it. Plus, you can’t beat the price.

A very nice Bitter from Cricket Hill. Poured an orange body with an adequate white head. Nice citrus flavor to match the color, excellent session beer though I’m not sure what the ABV was in this bitter. I don’t believe it would be anything off the charts, worth sampling.

Tap at the brewery. Pours a slight hazy light amber with a good sticky rocky head. Aroma is slightly fruity malty but tended to be more towards the floral hop side. Good smooth mouthfeel, with low carbonation. Nice malty flavor, slightly sweet, with a good bitterness to round it out. Very nice.
