On tap at the brewery. A fine bitter. Definitely their best beer. They should release this in bottles as well. A fine session beer. Had a few of these on my first happy hour of the year. A good balance in it. Plus, you can’t beat the price.

Pours fairly light amber. Good head and solid lacing. Smells of a little malt, fruit, weak. Nothing about this beer impressed me until I sipped it. Excellently balanced taste. Cricket Hill continues to impress me for a small local brewery. Lots of citrus notes there, some lemon and grapefruit topped with a hop punch akin to that of an IPA. I would actually almost consider this an IPA. Finishes hoppy/bitter. Smooth palate with a light, ticklish carbonation. Unlike other tasters, I didn’t find this beer to be bland at all -- very complex and shocking. Very surprising brew, thumbs up.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a regular white head. Nose is sweet, fruity and malty. I honestly wasn’t expecting much following the other reviews, but I was pleasently suprised, The brew was carmelized peaches with a malty undertone. Very smooth. The mouthfell was thin but the flavors were quite enjoyable. Might go here again, but the price is prohibitive at $4 for a 12 oz. bottle.

Bottle courtesy of decaturstevo. Poured amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with a touch of a hop background. The flavor finds some sweet honey and caramel with some grainy undertones. Light body, hint of bitter in the ending.

Bottle from Steveo, thanks. Label says cask ale. Orange colored pour with a white head on it. Sweet caramel smell, not much else. Light body, thin mouthfeel, a little bit of hops exist - light carbonation. Not alot to say about this one. Kind of bland.

Sampled under cask ale label. Pouirs amber with a off white head. Aroma of toffee, cookie, and citrus. Light to medium bodied, watery british mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee and wet grains, with a very faint bitterness. Diacetyl finish.
