Commercial Description:
The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

Poured golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of stale corn and mega skunk. The flavor is stomach-churningly skunky, with some corn and hop notes. Taste like it was brewed with sweatsocks. This beer is crappy enough to deserve to be marketed worldwide in cases of thirty and bought by the millions.

Bottle courtesy of Duane. Bright gold body. The aroma is cooked carrots and some fresh apples. There is a hint of celery salt. The taste has fresh green beans and some spicy black pepper in the finish. There is also a bite of grass. A nice rendition of the style.

At NJ Craft Brew Fest 2005: A good lager that stands above most other examples. Very easy to drink with no aftertaste. This would be a good session beer for craft lovers that are just starting out.

pours pale golden, very thin head, decent color and an ok smell, tastes smooth, but body is watery, yet this beer is drinkable.

Pale golden hue with a thin white head. Taste is clean and crisp with slight bitterness in the end. Probably wouldn’t seek this out, but it’s decent enough.

Courtesy of Wohlfs. Was actually decent for a pale lager. Aroma and flavor are sweet malt and corn. Dry hop finish. Decent.

Brewer said this was brewed in the helles style. Pale gold with small head and moderate carbonation. Aroma is initially much more hoppy than a traditional pale lager or helles. Slightly floral and earthy hops, but then a firm toasted malt aroma is noticed. Flavor is balanced pretty well between hops and light malts. Slightly toasty, sweet, light caramel, and bready pils malt. Moderate crisp and bitter finish.
