Commercial Description:
The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

Pours a limpid golden yellow with a scant head. A thin collar of foam along the sides and a whisper of a milky swirl floats on top. No lacing. Subtle aromas of floral hoppiness, along with a sweet corn flair. Grainy flavors along with some sweetish corn, A touch of metal. Husky aftertaste, what little aftertaste there is. Mild and inocuous. Bland and not memorable at all.

12 oz bottle. Poured a golden/yellow with an average white head that quickly faded. The body on this one had barely any visibile carbonation and looked flat. Aroma was very simple with a malt base and a slightly noticable floral hop aroma in the background. Flavor was mostly malt dominant with a medium mouthfeel. Nothing special about this brew.

Fresh bottle. Pale yellow with initial white fizzy head. Gazzy overcarbonated, with metallic in aftertaste. The lagerish taste is overwhelmed by the process, much like a macro.

A nice blond lager. Hop aroma is a balance between noble and floral American type. Nice light finish, but not too dry. A unique and interesting American lager.

Poured a mellow golden with a decent white head. A sweet floral aroma. Flavor is sweet and it goes down smooth. Easy drinking lager that is good on a hot summer day.

Pours straw golden, with a large foamy white head. Aroma is almost non-existent, but there is a light corny sweetness, and a hint of floral hops. Flavor is the same as the aroma indicates, but it is pleasant none the less. Palate is light and smooth, but a virtually non-existent finish. Not much going on, but I could pound a case of this on a hot summer day

Had this on draft recently-poured a golden color with a small white head.Aromas were of some floral hops and also some toasted malts. These were also reflected somewhat in the taste as well as some caramel and bread. This is an easy drinking New Jersey Lager, not too bad.

This is an easy to drink, well balanced, clean and smooth lager. More malty than bitter, the crisp carbonation keeps everything enjoyable. Perfect for a few on a warm summer’s day. Gentlemen, start your (lawnmower) engines!
