Commercial Description:
The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

yellow-y color but decent head saves the looks. I wonder whether there is a quality issue as the ratings seem to vary widely. For me I find I rate CH higher than the averge everytime. A pale lager with hop and malt character. Herbal notes in the nose, citrus and biscuity. refreshing.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours pale golden, very thin head, decent color and an ok smell, tastes smooth, but body is watery, yet this beer is drinkable.

12 oz. pours a clear light orange/golden with good carbonation. Aroma is of light malt, slight citrus, taste is of sweet malt, some tea, floral, with a very slight amount of bitterness and a smooth finish.

Pee yellow color, thin bubbly head, very little lacing around the glass, grassy aroma with a hint of stale barley, thin & watery body, very light, sour aftertaste, not a good lager by any stretch of the imagination

Pours gold with a thin white head that dissipates rapidly. Smells of grapes and pepper. Taste is watery with some hop notes.

Bottle. Fruity, floral sweet aroma. Bready, yeasty sour aroma as well. Definitely some funkiness in the nose. Transparent yellow color with small mildly frothy white head. Bready, doughy start turning very very very metallic. Holy crap. It’s like drinking pennies. Quite sweet without much in the way of hops. A half a step up from BMC.

12z bottle. Hazy, dull golden hue. Minimal white head. Grapefruit and straw in the nose. Bread and apples. Light but crisp. Easy drinking, yet with character. Definite bubblegum flavors, along with citrus hop finish. Grapefruit and pine. Crisp and bready. For being light and pale, it has a big taste.
