| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Mild citrus and herbal hops over bready malts in the aroma. Brilliant, clear golden body is topped by a low but lasting white head. Soapy, floral, herbal character to the lightly grainy flavour with fair bitterness and a hint of sulfur. Light body is refreshing with lively carbonation. Sampled at Kennett Sqaure Brewfest. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 29, 2005 Bottle... Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Good retention. Citrusy aroma with notes of lemon peel and a whisper of chicken broth. Malty, sweet flavor up front followed by very litght bitterness from modest hopping. Lemon, tea and light grapefruit. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Short, crisp, clean finish. Rastacouere (5561), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Diminishing white head topples a hazy light gold dye. Unassertive pils malt requests at graininess to compensate its lack of honeyish and bready substance. Slightly sulfury nature boosts the soapy feel. Light bodied, biting carbonation, rather tart and citric nature that does not please me much, but gently floral aftertaste. Very average ultimately. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 23, 2005 The beer pours a brilliantly clear, straw-gold color that sits beneath a frothy pale cream colored head that is an ample 2.5 fingers thick in my small tulip glass. The aroma is fairly clean with some spicy herbal notes, a bit of lemon and a clean, sweet grainy maltiness. For a pale lager the aroma is pretty nice, makes it seem refreshing and inviting to drink on a warm summer afternoon. The beer is quite crisp, with an astringent herbal hoppiness that moves to a nice bitterness as the beer passes through my mouth. This beer is quite refreshing; this would be nice on a hot summer’s day. It is certainly a big step up from your standard BMC; I really like the spicy, lemon tinted, herbal hop notes in this beer. The key to this beer is to drink it pretty cold, I can’t see this tasting nearly as well if I allowed it to warm up to even ale temperatures, as is it is a good rendition of the style. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 2, 2005 Clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma of light grain and a hint of lemon. For a crappy lager, this actually has a little flavor to it; notes of grain, grass, lemon with some caramel and light hop bitterness making an appearance at the end. Light/medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. I’m actually pleased with this beer because I was expecting something god awful and it turned out to be not that bad.
