It’s not overly hopped like so many beers today and contains no rice or corn or other adjuncts that make beers taste watery. Hop aroma is a balance between noble and floral American type. Nice light finish, but not too dry. A unique and interesting American lager. No flaws and nice malt character with gentle hops. Nothing that will impress an ale drinker, but a really nice all-malt lager that is great for binge drinking. New Rating.
Clear and golden, not much head. Aroma has very little amounts of everything, with some distant fruity notes, malt, and maybe a touch of corn. Flavor is malty, and crisp, but no hop character. Basically well made, but a bit on the bland side. 5-4-5-4-10 Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
