Commercial Description:
This amazing unfiltered Autumn brew falls somewhere between Cricket Hill’s popular "American Ale" and their equally-popular "Hopnotic IPA" but takes on a taste all it’s own. A fantastic Ale that one must seek on the journey of microbrew obsession.

Hazy copper color small white head. Aroma has citrus hops and faint pine with a caramel malt balance. Flavor is lightly hopped with caramel malts and a slight lingering pine hop bitterness.

Much more like an Octoberfest than an ESB. I picked up a bottle while traveling through parts of NJ. I am an ESB lover. I did not hate this one, but I would choose something else off the shelf next time.

Bottle shared at Moosetoberfest by jcwattsrugger, thanks John. Poured a very light shade of amber that was slightly cloudy and sitting underneath a small white bubbly head. Aroma of vegtable soup, grains and slight spice. Flavor was slight vegtables, white bread and grains, rather weak. Thin bodied with a quick and totally fading flavor. Blah!!!

This beer pours a dark golden color with a orange hue. The head is beige and a bit on the small side. The nose features notes of citrus, hops, grass, orange peel, bread and hay. The body is slightly creamy and boasts a bit of a spritzy and overly-carbonated feel. The flavors are on the bland side, with some hints of grapefruit, hops, oranges, grass, earth and light bread. The finish is also on the citrusy and lightly hoppy side. This ESB/bitter isn’t anything to be writing home about. It’s mostly a bland and uninteresting offering.

Thanks jcwattsrugger for the share. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is citrus, malt, and some bitterness. Taste is like a mix between an amber and an ESB with definitive qualities of both. Interesting beer.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium golden/amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, a little earthy, and toasty. Tastes of the same lighter citrus, toastiness, and lighter earthiness.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of fruity hops. Poured amber in color with a large, fluffy, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, slight grapefruit, slight citrus, light malts, slight nuts, and slight wood. Light to medium body. Thin, dry, lightly chalky texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, light malt finish is dry.

Growler shared by jcwattrugger at the 9th Richmond Gathering. Nice English hop nose over caramelized malts. Mostly clear light amber/golden. A big ESB or small IPA with notes of citrus American hops. Finish is clean and bitter. Very nice.
