At first the palate was a little harsh and I didn’t like the taste but after a few sips it adjusted and the beer began to go down smooth. Nice beer, looking forward to having more from this brewery. sebletitje (1925), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Updated: Sep 17, 2009It is a festivus for the rest of us thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours deep clear gold with off white head. The aroma is sugar sweet malts, a modest level of spice, a touch of apple and then some grain. The taste is similar with spices, grains and sweet sugary malts starting out. About midway it gets a bit fruity with some sweet green apple. A new batch of this was tasting very nice. More lively, less apple, plenty of biscuit, roastiness and citrus hops. Really nice actually. vtafro (475), , New Jersey, USA

One of the best appearance’s i’ve seen in a beer, it reminds me of fall in low lighting, just awesome. Dry malt bill hints of dried fruit with a bread y feel to it. Hint so citrus and grain mill.
