Commercial Description:
This amazing unfiltered Autumn brew falls somewhere between Cricket Hill’s popular "American Ale" and their equally-popular "Hopnotic IPA" but takes on a taste all it’s own. A fantastic Ale that one must seek on the journey of microbrew obsession.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium golden/amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, a little earthy, and toasty. Tastes of the same lighter citrus, toastiness, and lighter earthiness.

Bottle thanks Vic for the share. Pours an orange brune with a white head. One of the best appearance’s i’ve seen in a beer, it reminds me of fall in low lighting, just awesome. Dry malt bill hints of dried fruit with a bread y feel to it. Hint so citrus and grain mill.

It is a festivus for the rest of us thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours deep clear gold with off white head. The aroma is sugar sweet malts, a modest level of spice, a touch of apple and then some grain. The taste is similar with spices, grains and sweet sugary malts starting out. About midway it gets a bit fruity with some sweet green apple. A new batch of this was tasting very nice. More lively, less apple, plenty of biscuit, roastiness and citrus hops. Really nice actually.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of fruity hops. Poured amber in color with a large, fluffy, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, slight grapefruit, slight citrus, light malts, slight nuts, and slight wood. Light to medium body. Thin, dry, lightly chalky texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, light malt finish is dry.

Growler shared by jcwattrugger at the 9th Richmond Gathering. Thanks! Pours a hazy amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Resiny hop aroma balanced fairly well with toffee notes. Taste is toffee, bready and toasted malts, leafy and resiny citrus hops and very faint fruity notes. Medium bodied with a lingering bitterness.

Light orange, nice head. Growler courtesy of jcwttrugger, 9th Richmond Gathering. Lightly citric hop aroma, faintly floral as well, decent toffee malt backbone, faint biscuit. Flavor matches. Clean, well balanced, very nicely done beer.

Deep gold with just a hint of red with foamy tight head and lace. Light caramel sweet malt aroma. Flavor of lightly sweet malt and a very nice finishing bitter. Medium bodied and a tad foamy. A very refreshing drinkable beer.
