Commercial Description:
No mere beverage could satisfy the thirst of the courageous and gallant soldiers who stood guard over the colonies of the British Empire. Their thirst could only be quenched by a full-bodied hearty Ale; an Ale balanced with rich flavorful hops. We are proud to offer our interpretation of this English style India Pale Ale for those who loong for the time when once your duty was complete, the taste of a fine Ale was reward enough for a job well done.

Bottle: Hazy golden, moderate to large frothy white head, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   Pale hop nose, cereal like malts.   Soft hop bitterness on the tongue.   Just as expected, its very light, much more like a Pale Ale on the west coast.   Very mealy, cerealish, with a funk on the aftertaste.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Tiz okay, but overall its too light.   Also has a slight astringency on the finish.   Thanks Jeff!

served bottled. pours amber in color, with a foamy white head. smells nicely of citrus and hops. taste is hoppy, nothing revelatory but a good-enough overall beer.

Pours a golden-amber hue with a frothy white head. Aromas of pine. citrus. and a little weed. Mouth feel is light to medium bodied. flavor is pretty light compared to the aroma. a mellow bitterness with a light lingering sweetness.

Light golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of citrusy hops. Taste is hoppy, but unbalanced and not quite what I look for in an IPA. A bit disappointing.

From the 12oz bottle pours amber gold with a smooth white head. Floral hop nose, light citrus, slightly spiced. Not really much for sweetness in this one, more bitter citrus flavors, slight bitter orange peel flavor, long bitter finish. Not as hoppy of a flavor as I was expecting, the nose lets on that it will have more. Leaves your palate tasting like you have been chewing on orange peels.

Dull orange body with a soapy white head. Tangerine and apricot aroma with lightly catty and grassy notes, plus honey malt tones. Tea-like malt and crusty hop flavor. Semi-dry with light citric acidity and some mildly astringent aspirin-quality bitterness in the finish. Palate is a little thin and slick. Passable when fresh, but a very basic IPA at best.

12 noz bottle into a Snifter glass. Pours a golden hue with a small white head. Aroma of grassy, bitter hops. The taste is a lot of the same, bitter hops, sour citrus, really nothing interesting. The aftertaste is very bitter and kind of lingers longer than it should. Not too impressed on this guy, but thanks to Pitonka anyways!!

Pours yellow/gold, with a whiye head. Aromas are hops, grass, and some spice. Flavors are citrusy hops, fruit, sweet malt, and grass. Better than expected.
