| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Perfectly respectable orange color with thin white head. Aroma is approaching nil, so this is not off to a good sttart. Taste is better than expected from aroma, but a bit grassy, and lightly sweet. $2/12oz Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 22, 2006 served at NYC Brewtopicafest. this is a pretty good one. at the very least it inspired the drawing of an "erging cricket" which offered much amusement to my whole party. a golden body with a medium off-white head that leaves some lacing behind. had a great strong, pungeant smell of spice and grass and pine. tastes strongly of pine with some grain, grass, peppers and citrus, mostly orange. flavors are not well balanced but their intensity makes up for it through their shock value. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Aroma is PBJ wheat-malt and slight citru hop. Pale gold, aggressive pour produces small white head. Flavor reveals notable lagery corn beer plus slight faint hint of IPA. Palate is the residue of corn syrup. Boo. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2006 Cloudy, bubbly orange pour with a thin white head. Bready, yeasty aroma. Lemony front end with a slightly bitter finish. It would make for a nice session beer....very refreshing. rmuller (7), New Jersey, USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2006 First review on here... but I’m local to the brewery so I’ve had this on draught before.. but I decided to try the bottle.. Appearance: Clean pour, light goldish amber color, 1/2 finger of head, a little lacing :: Aroma: Mid-hoppy, quite pleasing :: Flavor: Mid-to-heavy initial hoppy taste, goes down smooth and leaves a decent bitter aftertaste :: Palate: For a hoppy beer, the carbonation is decent full-mouth feeling. Overall: Above average for a hoppy IPA, and enjoyable. HopBackDoc (395), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Draft. Nice color and aroma, but the fun stopped there. Too thin and not hoppy enough to match up against the rest of the genre. Would be OK if you liked a good ale without the kick.
