Taste was hoppy alright, very piney, citric and floral. Definitely a punch in the mouth. Dry bitter finish. Overall, IMO not one of the better IPA’s I’ve had. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Poured effervescent yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of herbal hops, though somewhat sknuky. Taste is one-dimensionally hoppy, not a whole lot else, leving a bitter dry finish. Ok, but nothing to write home about. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA

Drinking this beer has a bit of a thick feel, taste is hoppy with a nice alcohol bite. Mild in class is how the brewer describes their beers, and I would agree with this one.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Taste is both grassy and citrusy. However, while bitter, the bitterness isn’t the hop bite that I look for in an IPA. Biting and a little acidic, not horrible but there’s definitely much better IPA’s out there. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2005 Pours a light gold with a fluffy sticky white head. Aroma is very grassy, some citrus and a bit of earthiness. A nice blend between an amerian and english IPA. Use of challenger, warrior (sometimes simcoe) and dry hop of East kent goldings makes for a nice and unique combination. Balanced slightly by a very light crystal or carapils sweetness. Easy drinking IPA. hopscotch (5504), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Good retention. Floral and citrusy nose. Decent malt profile with metallic, moderately bitter hops. Medium-bodied and creamy with fizzy carbonation. Crisp, medium bitter finish. Ends up dry and grassy.
