| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Bottle from Super Saver in Pennington, NJ. Pours amber with a white head. Medium bodied with an aggressive carbonation. Aroma of pale malts and skunk. Pale toffee-esque malts hide behind a sharp herbal bitterness. There are some citrus notes struggling in the background. Harsh bitterness carries through to the finish, which is joined by some hairspray or medicinal notes. Overall, this has a cheap beer vibe to it ( I am thinking Sleeman). Perhaps this beer is old, but since there are no bottling dates, I have to call it like I taste it. Almost a drainpour. NJBeerman013 (776), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Bottle. A very solid IPA. Has a great hop profile. It has a solid, citrus bite with a maltiness that balances well. Tasty. BREWMUSKCLES (1073), New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 8, 2007 this is a nice hot weather pale ale. it has characteristics of taste and body that i find good. i had other comments that were carefully thought out and transcribed -but- i was away from the cpu and my membership profile dropped out and so i am left befuddled. but my tastebuds shall clearly remember the experience. only youre understanding of the beer has been sacrificed. check the scores and try some! beerbill (1950), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2007 On tap at GWBF 2007. I have to say, of all the groups pouring at Brewtopia, I think the folks at Cricket Hill were having the most fun and really seemed to enjoy meeting everyone. Pours a clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Very pleasant pine and citrus aroma along with some floral notes. The flavor is more dominated by pine with lingering pine bitterness at the finish. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Pours a proper golden-amber, with nice head and lacing. Flavor leans towards a woody earthy type of IPA that you’d expect from England, with enough citrus to keep it inline with the American style as well. Slight bitterness in the after. Enough to let you know what you’re drinking, but nothing overpowering. If you’re looking for a true to style IPA that is also sessionable, you might want to give this one a try. eaglefan538 (2363), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2007 KSBF07. Light orangey-amber color with a white-ish head. The aroma was woody w/ some pine and citrus hopping. The flavor followed suit, woodsy notes, pine and citrus, light caramel malts, but this thing was a bit underhopped for an IPA. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, moderate carbonation. A weak IPA, ok PA, but even in the case of a PA, nothing to write home about. theviolet (168), New York, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Pours a deep orange gold. Nice head, good lacing throughout. Seems very sticky. I didn’t like the hop-taste as much as I do in other IPAs. Not a bad beer, I plan on trying it again sometime. Nice aroma though, I like the smell of caramel I got.
