Watery texture gives way to a grassy, fuggles infested IPA. Slight caramel, mild apple and pear, malty with lots of resin. Lingering pleasant hops. All English all the way. F me, I like this. it’s not a citric bomb, but it is a quaffer, and tasty. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

Overall, a very solid offering from Cricket Hill. this would make a wonderful session brew! fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 Bottle. Aroma of spicy, peppery hops, some pine resin, mild citrus, sweet, caramel malt. Flavor again has some nice pine resin and more toasted malt character than the sweetness in the nose seemed. Still some fruity sweetness lingering though as well. Full bodied and pretty sticky. Maybe it’s not a bruising IPA, but sub-3 average? Shocking! Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Smells of citrus, pine and wildflowers with some hay in the background. Taste is of grassy hops with some decent citrus notes on the finish. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

By that, I mean that the taste is very good but not very hoppy (which is typical of an IPA). It’s actually sweeter than hoppier. Very drinkable. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

Hops right up front in the form of some impressive piney, grapefruit rind flavors. Hops dominate throughout. Slight "off" flavor at the finish, otherwise, pretty good! thanks to Lou18 for the trade.
