Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium soapy head. Aroma is tart apple, white grapes, and light must - almost Riesling-like. Taste has a dry finish, white grapes and tart apples up front with a hint of alcohol. Very enjoyable.

Pours a very light (almost belgian white) pale yellow color with thin white head. Aroma is of apple cider, light spice and light white grape. Taste is much the same. It’s like apple flavored sparking wine, which isn’t bad at all. It’s not something I’d buy again, because despite it being very drinkable, it’s not very complex and lacks excitement.

Sort of halfway between Woodchuck and real cider, this is made w/ fermented cider, carbonated water, honey and flavoring. Looks like a white beer w/ no head, pale golden and cloudy. Nose is of green apples with some light floral notes. Taste is of tart apple soda w/ a bit of balancing sweetness. Overall, not a bad beverage but lacking true depth or complexity.

22 oz bottle shared by the girlfriend. Pours a bubbly body, no real head, champagne hue that is fairly hazy. Pretty carbonated, aromas are natural apple juice, a mellow sweetness, faint honey sweetness. Mostly juice, would have preferred a bit more dryness on the nose. Initial is mellow sweet apples, lighter bodied, light carbonation, no real tartness, a bit bland on the palate. Light sweetness, natural apple. I really would have preferred a drier, more champagne feel.. But this isn’t offensive and keeps away from the underbodied and sickly sweet ciders I do not like on the opposite end of the spectrum. Not bad

Very pale pour, lightly fizzy, no real head. Looks like Squirt soda, not attractive by beer standards. Aroma combines yeast and sweet apple notes in great harmony. Flavor is overall sweet, apple, complexity added by a deep, earthy yeasty mustiness and an edge of dry champagne. Thin to medium body, spritzy and a bit tannic on the palate, refreshing, a real pleasure to drink.

Hazy, pear juice color. Yeasty and a big note like sake. Sweet, but not overly so. Honey Crisp aren’t my favorite apples--I had one this morning, such is their popularity in Minnesota--but they’re more hype than reality, in my view. The flavors here aren’t exceptional--I wouldn’t say this is much of a step up from the Woodpeckers and Cider Jack end of the spectrum, and certainly nothing like the fine English ciders.

Pale lemonade color with no head. Yeast, pie crust, flour, and apples on the verge of rotting. Apple juice and phenol flavors.Perfume and floral flavors in the middle. Some sugar wheat puff flavors in the finish. Too much bread yeast flavor for my liking. Orginial Rate 4,2,5,3, - 2.4 Actually after setting for a bit, warming up and adding the remander of the yeast, the bread yeast flavors have diminished. Nice smooth apple flavor. Not sure about the over ice thing. Actually looks a bit milky now.

This is even better than the Original. As the name indicates, this is crisp and clean. It has just the right amount of sweetness to fill it out. This is a great fall refresher.
