Commercial Description:
European-style extra-dry over ice. The champagne of ciders; combining subtlety and sophistication; the epitome of unforced elegance. A crisp fresh apple bouquet with a brisk, refined finish that lingers on the palate.

Pale straw with just a few white, mostly force pour, bubbles. Scents of apples and floral perfume. Lightly tart and sweet. Bit of apple skin bitterness. Fairly dry in the finish. Not as clean and dry as I would expect.

Another cider claiming to be big and huge that turns out weak and fairly boring. Decent apple flavors in a mild way through mid-body.

ABR 2009. Served on ice. Apple aroma and apple flavor, but it is not very strong. This one is dry. No yeast or complexity really, but drinkable enough.

Candied apple, oxidized apple even. Darker than the regular crispin, but still straw. Blossom freshness too. DriER, strongER than the regular crispin, but remains simple in its sweetness and finishes quick.

BOTTLE: clear yellow/gold pour, plenty of apple on this one. Nice and crisp, grape and apple on taste. Excellent cider.

Light gold with no head but bubbles around side / Semi sweet nose of fresh cut apples / Light body, moderately carbonated and near dry, with a very good finish / Clean, simple flavors of fresh cut apples, skins, and cream / Not complex, but very balanced with good, fresh, non-cloying.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Cellars Wine and Spirits in Shorewood, MN. Pours a clear light straw cider with some carbonation bubbles on glass side. Aroma of apple cider, a touch of Asti Spumante and some seltzer. Taste is spritzy, light bodied with flavors of crisp apples, a touch of white grape and mild yeast. Finish is semi-dry with a crisp apple aftertaste. Not as dry as most other dry ciders but still a crisp finish.

Picked up a single bottle of this at the Binny-apostrophe-s in Orland Park, IL. This pours a clear, very pale yellow, almost looking like water. The aroma, while not bad, is very faint - light, sweet apple. Gassy, highly carbonated. Straight forward crisp apple taste. Unoffensive and uninteresting.
