The aroma is sweet with notes of fresh cherries and only a slight note of acidity. The flavor is sweet combined with a slight acidity and notes of wood and cherries towards the end. The acidity only draws moderate mouthwater - I’d like much more acidity. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Reddish brown with a head that comes close to being pink. A bit flat, lovely cherry flavours but very, very sour in a not so enticing way. Pale red colour, lots of small floaties. Very small head. The flavour is tart, turning citric with a faint hint of cherry. Has a lambicky tartness at the very beginning. Rough bitterness. Finishes on a strange plastic note at the back of the mouth. After a few sips, the unpleasant notes seem to disappear, leaving a nicely sour beer. 5 3 6 3 13
