I might just buy this by the case. This was an all around top notch quaffer. If you haven’t had this you need to get it together and get some of this stuff ASAP. Its great! Grapefruit hops, chewy malt. A great beer to drink when you’re having several at a sitting. Listen to me, IM gushing! Darkover (1314), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Peachy and fruity. good though, i easily drank the whole growler that night. Good amount of hops, though it could be fresher. Rather have Ipswich ESB. better than redhook probably. argo0 (6948), Washington DC, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 1, 2002 Good beer all around. The aroma is delightful: gimme some hops. On second thought, make mine a double! The aroma gives a good preview of the flavor, lots of citrusy hops, with an adequate quantity of malts to prevent imbalance. all told, a fairly smooth beer too. fuchebu (146), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

Rich, sweet roast malt flavor and hop bitter tang hit you at the same time. Slight sour apple after taste. A real mid-west treat. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
