12 oz. brown bottle. Not the best ESB I've ever had, but not the worst either. Poured out a darkish copper color, with a loose white head. The head faded to a ring of bubbles around the rim. A little over-carbonated for my liking. Bubbles rose from the bottom for the duration. Aromas are of fruit. High in esters, as it has a fruity taste to it as well. Hops are kind of biting in the middle of this beer, with a sweet caramel finish to it. It was tasty, to be sure, but not something I'd go out of my way to buy again.

Very faint caramel malt in the aroma, along with a goodly amount of spicy, piney hop and something like very slight yeast...a very beery scent! Medium orange-amber in color with a lasting head and delicate lacing. Flavor is hoppy, more spice, pine and a faint swish of citrus, followed by amber, caramel malt flavors and balancing nicely just before and on into the finish. Aftertaste is gently bitter and full of hop flavor. Unassuming and enjoyable.

Bottle. Not bad at all. Malty aroma, nice and unexpectedly complex bitterness in the taste with a bit of roasted something or another. Hoppy, pineish flavor with a bit of peppermint in the finish. Quite nice.

A nice full rich flavor, and very clean, crisp and refreshing. This is one of the better ESB's that I have had, and is in the traditional English tradition of bitter ales.

Amber color with a good head. Nice rich bitters in the aroma. Good tangy taste. Crisp and clean mouthfeel. Good over all beer.

Classic looking ESB. Browish orange color, small head. Malty, with a carmel like flavor well balanced with English hops. Nice brew.

A beautiful beer! Amber in color with a great head...lasted a while too. An excellent beer, though the nose was way too piney for an ESB. It got better with warmth, started to resemble the style, but all in all, too hoppy for an ESB.

Loved the aroma this ale has, great looking pour from the bottle. Nice sweet malt up front with a good solid hoppy finish.
