Attractive copper gold in color. Bright hop aroma. Fine balance between malt and hops. I like the bready caramel malt flavor. Low carbonation tickles the tongue. A very good bitter.

Smells like a barleywine and tastes like a cross and tastes like a barleywine-lite but in a wonderful way. Such a tasty treat...incredible balance and easily drinkable for being so rich.

Damn fine brew this is. Toffee and caramel aromas dominate the aroma. Thick and turbid, this brew coats your mouth and glides down your throat. Hops are very much present, but mostly in flavor, not in bitterness. Very well done.

Copper colored body with a thin white head. Some floaties from the yeast. Sweet malt and hops in the nose. Malty in the beginning with a nice hop finish. Not too much bite though. Nicely balanced. Well carbonated which may carry off some of the more subtle hop flavors and/or aromas.

An excellent, affordable beer. Amber color, hoppy aroma with a floral, dry finish. Malt and hops are perfectly balanced and the palate of this beer is great.
