Dark amber/reddish in color. This has a great malty - almost chocolatey aroma in additional to the great hop aroma present. To me the blend of malt and hops is about as perfect as it gets. This is certainly one beer to be savored. If you love hoppy beers AND very full bodied beers - this is your beer!

It’s a beautiful beer, it looks great in a glass and goes down well with a great after taste. It’s just a great beer to have after a long day.

I love a good ESB, with a special fondness for true to form soft earthy English types, but this is huge malt and huge hops and a real English/American cross through and through and I loved it! Great body, great lace. looks truly lovely in the pint glass...an all around winner. Thanks to VA Homebrewer for this one, whih I can’t get a mere 120 miles from Cleveland!

I bought the CRB sampler and this was the bet out of the bunch. As far as ESB’s go, this is the best I have sampled to date.

RE-Rate 10/02 - subtle fruityness. for MY tastes, this is thee most perfectly balanced session ale. i keep searching, but have not found a better choice. Old rating: at first, i thought it was way too hoppy compared to other ESB's. Maybe it is, but it is just soooo good. It's just bursting with flavors. Keeps me coming back for more. definitely one of my favorites.

I really like this beer. What a nice, full, dry-hopped nose, with a big, rich, malty body to match. A pleasure!
