Bottle shared by SpringsLicker with myself, Suttree, and decaturstevo. Pours amber (surprise) with slight haze and a big yellow-cream head. The aroma is caramel, honey, some faint wood. The flavor is light caramel and cake icing sweetness with faint wood. Definitely drinkable, but not very memorable.

Sometime the beer is so unique that reviews seem to write themselves, or even spring fully formed from your head to the page. This is not one of those times. Thanks to Springslicker for this one.

POurs somewhat rusty colored with an ample head. It shows notes of malt on the aromatics and then moves into the bitter finish of hops on the finish of the palate.

Poured a clear deep cooper color with a small off-white head that quickly diminishes. The aroma is a little thick with nutty, toasty and roasty notes. Strong honey notes as the beer warmed. Some sweetness with a light fruit quality. The flavor had a lightly roasted malt. The flavor was mouthfilling with malt. A moderate bitterness and CO2 tingle on the semi-dry finish. Medium bodied for the most part.

Draft. Ehh. Sort of a dark ale w/strong taste of malt, finsihes with some hops. Started off interesting, but didn’t end that way.

$2.50 for 1 12oz bottle down on chrystie street nyc. comes on strong the first big sip or two mostly with alcohol and malt . then it settles and backs down noticeably. looks darn good in the glass with a dark amber color and dissappearing head. beer appears to be fresh - slightly bitter finish. clearly a one hit (sip) wonder. don’t think i need to pay that again for this sweetish slightly amped up amber.

Found a 4 pack of bottles at Shoreline yesterday. Pours a deep ruby amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is skewed way off to the crystal malt side, and not much of any hop character. Sweetish, caramel flavors, almost sharp, with a toasted almond hint in the aroma and flavor. Relativley clean with a slight slick finish. I would have liked more hops in this, but it was still decent.

Bottle. This beer starts off like an irish red as it warms the alcohol and hop flavors come forward. Not a bad beer but the aliens can have it back.
