Sep 25, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - New Inn, Cropton. A golden coloured beer with a tight white head and lacing. The aroma is dry with hints of lemon. Dry and fairly ordinary in the mouth with the merest hint at hoppiness.

Feb 20, 2008 Cask in Bon accord. Aroma is noteably sulphury, grassy and pale malt character. Taste is thin but tasty sweet pale malts with again the sulphur playing a part.

Aug 15, 2007 Cask@The Rake, London. Golden colour, minor head. Aroma is eggy, malty, hoppy and earthy. Flavour is very much the same, with focus on the eggyness.

Jul 19, 2006 Bit of a disappointment. Smell is some sour yeast, some mild toast. Pours cloudy with a very quickly dissappearing head. Mouthfeel is thin, taste uninspiring, and lingering bitterness quickly turns astringent. considering the quality low alcohol north England Ales around, this is not worth the effort.

Jun 21, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours ever so slightly hazy, pale amber with a huge, rough head - shaving foam style. Malty, lightly tart nose. Thin somewhat watery body dominated by a light sourness on a background of light, nutty notes. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. Obviously another bottle conditioned English Ale gone bad. Sigh. 200606
