Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A fine traditional ale with a hint of summer sweetness.
A light, golden coloured refreshing ale made using finest pale crushed malt, the dwarf variety hop First Gold and local Yorkshire Honey. This provides a well-balanced hoppy beer with a pleasant honey aftertaste.
Honey Gold can be enjoyed at any time of year but on a hot summers' day it's the bees knees! 4.2%ABV

Bottle, 4.2%. Fruity and slightly sweet flavour. Almost clear pale yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is quite clean with a hint of honey. Not the sweetness from honey, but the flavour. One of the more successful of the honey beers i have had.

Bottle @ The Bear, Camberwell, London. Nose of yeast, floral and fruit. Cloudy amber appearance. Large foamy white head. Slight carbonation. A nice balance between sweetness, grapefruit, honey and hops.

500ml Bottle @ The Bear, Camberwell, London. Cloudy / hazy yellow colour with lasting frothy head and good lacing. Aroma is grassy / sweet / caramel. Taste is not as honey like as you’d expect although crisp and sweet.
