Green and sweet. Ganja, celery? Fresh, dense, warm and chewy. Slightly candyish on top of a red Thai curry. Silky m/f, straw, smooth citrus fruit. Vanilla, clementine, a touch of slightly smoky grain. Sweet biscuit afters. Better than Brewer’s Gold. reakt (937), Greater London, England

Clear gold with a fluffy, lasting white foam. Lovely aroma, sligtly floral with tropical and citrus fruits, sweet vanilla and maybe even honey. Some subtle barley in there also. To be honest, I’m not familiar with lychee but if this is what it’s like I need to try some. Taste is actually much the same, nice bitter citrus zest hops but so well balanced with the juicy floral notes and sweetness. WOW! Update - Had this on cask @ The Wenlock yesterday and after two pints I have to say I preferred the bottled version. Don’t get me wrong, it was still pretty darn good but lacked the refinement, sweetness and delicate floral and fresh fruit notes that seemed to shine through from the bottle. OMG, i had brewers gold on last week and it was completly awsome like top 20 of all time. No i get this chap on and it just takes hoppy light golden ales to a whole new level. Aroma is bursting with a mix of citrus lychee notes and tropical fruit, prhaps even some clear golden honey floral character. Taste is just bursting with balanced fruity sharpness and richness, all in all i doubt many beers could beat this as best beer ion the world when its in this type of form. A worldbeater that takes that brewers gold extra for a ride and kicks it up and down ths street for the banter! Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina

Pale yellow in colour with a strong hoppy peach and orange aromas. Floral in the mouth, with focused white and pink grapefruit elements. Light bodied without being watery, and with a zesty bitter finish. Excellent stuff... the best of the festival for me. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland
