Aroma is of spice and fruit while the taste is sweet and citrus. Little too sweet and extremely hoppy, however this is still a great beer, Svesse (2680), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 7, 2007 (Cask at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with foamy white head. Slightly hazy. Fruity nose with lots of grapefruit, lemon and serious amounts of Amarillo hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, lemon and pine needles. Long, harsh finish with loads of citrussy hops. As usual this brewer is’nt stingy with the hops. Rather one-dimensional, but yummy for a hophead. fonefan (11723), VestJylland, Denmark

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, pine, fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. omhper (12244), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Golden colour. Rich lychee aroma. Sweet and velvetty soft, really hoppy and somewhat sugary. Medium bodied with lingering bitter finish. Has this lovely seemless fhoppy flavour profile. With a tad less sweetness it’d be something mindblowing - now it’s just great.
