Mar 13, 2006 Cask handpull at Wenlock. So the best beer in England then? Golden, lasting white head. Certainly nice. Sweaty soapy citrus hop aroma. US style hop aroma. Fullish in mouth. Good citrus, some Turkish Delight/red fruit flavour. Nettley hop finish. Juicy in mouth. I suppose there’s a touch of sweetness from the alcohol. Could be crisper. I had the standard beer here before and thought that it was better.

Sep 10, 2005 Cask@Charlies bar Copenhagen. Pours a hazy golden, with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy, fresh. Taste is sweet malts, and lots of grassy/flowery hops. Long dry bitter aftertaste.

Sep 5, 2005 Ah! Now we’re talking. Had this cask conditioned as we say, in the Fat Cat. Wow! Hops galore! All the colours of the rainbow, and then some. Fruit upon fruit upon delicious fruit that makes your mouth water and dribble run down your beard (if you had one). Blows your socks off its so wonderful.

Aug 27, 2005 Cask (Wenlock): Gold clear with a white head. Nice lace too. Big hoppy grassy aroma. Medium refreshing body. Clean malty start with a long grapefruit citric hop finish. Quite grassy but never over the top. Tastes so fresh. Great stuff.

Aug 25, 2005 (Cask at Wenlock Arms, London) Clear apple juice body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, floral, some caramel, quite clean. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light caramel. Light-medium body. Nice balance, with the grapefruit being present, even dominant, but never overwhelming.

Jul 24, 2005 Updated: Sep 23, 2005(Cask at The Wharf, Aalborg) - Golden coloured with very floral nose. The taste is like most other of their beers dominated by the very "in your face" hoppiness, yet still being pretty wellbalanced and full bodied.
