Straw golden coloured bitter with a beautiful citrus hop aroma. Very well balanced full on sharp hoppy taste, which is so clean and drinkable. One of the very best UK cask ales, belies its strength just tastes of hops and more hops. A real IPA??? Sobchak (131), Skagen, Denmark

The taste is like most other of their beers dominated by the very "in your face" hoppiness, yet still being pretty wellbalanced and full bodied. OlMalteserHead (21), Glasgow, Scotland

Light gold with a thin head, the taste was all citrus and hop, with a fruity aftertaste. Alcohol concealed well as I am now finding to my dismay, there’s no way that was a 5.2% beer. damiano (20), USA

Glorious pint. Very fresh and light fruit. Hops abound. Lovely aftertaste that leaves you wanting another. Engelsmann (653), Copenhagen, Denmark

Aroma is grassy, hoppy, fresh. Taste is sweet malts, and lots of grassy/flowery hops. Long dry bitter aftertaste. Rastacouere (5559), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Flowery and kinda perfumey, rather funky hops with a wild side. Not too grainy in maltiness, but slightly nondescript, letting most of the place to the hops. Fresh flavoured, bright and pretty aromatic. Limited minerals despite the light salty touch. Mellow melon undertones introduce the sandy, evolving bitterness. Tannic upon the finish that is bready and long-lasting. Good indeed, if not my favourite golden ale.
