Superb use of East Kent Goldings hops, lager and wheat malts. Classy bit of stuff.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Golden beer with bubbly white head. Flowery, grassy hop which belies the intensity in the mouth. Flowery/floral hop, underpinned by biscuit malt with intense hop finish. Really tingles the tongue. Good supping beer. So good I had to get another half.

Cask at Peterborough BF ’06. Gold with a white head. Aroma of hops followed by a grapey, citrus taste that made this one of the festival highlights for me. Late surge of bitterness completes an excellent package.

Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Everything i expect from a crouch vale beer, citrusy pale malt goodness. One of the few beers i had a pint of. The other beer brewers gold and amarillo.

A bright, golden yellow coloured beer with a thick white head. A light citrus fruit nose with hops and lemon, with a tiny hint of malt. The taste is dry and bitter, lemon and hop flavours again, then a smooth biscuity malt taste to finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).

Hazy blond color. Very nice hoppy aroma, herbal and hearthy. Smooth, quite good, malty, very good hopping. Perfumy. Excellent, as usual.

Bright bottled at Peterborough Festival, drunk 10 days later. Wow! Hop explosion! Succulent beer. Aroma is fresh as though diving into a loaded hop back. Freshness is the key to the divine nature of this beast. It has the sweetness of the malt, and the crispness, and the balance, and the hop bite - it has all these things arranged in such a tempting, delicate, fresh.... O hell - it’s so clearly a great beer!

Pale golden colour, frothy white head. Big juicy hop aroma. Big and clean and something that I could easily recommend to my American cousins without apprehension. Good length on the palate. Complex fruity, hoppy flavour.
