Some malt aroma. Amber mid brown coloured and toffee flavoured with a hint of fruit. A little dry in the finish.

Oct 12, 2008 Draft at Crown & Goose. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malty aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

Mar 21, 2008 Golden orange, thin head. Aroma is rather faint, but seems grainy and juicySome subtle sweet, fruity notes, and a crisp, understated bitterness. Tasty session ale.

Mar 13, 2008 Fairly clear medium gold body small white head.
Light malt aroma, little hops.
The hops make an appearance as a touch of bitterness in the flavor, but this one really comes across as a bit sweet for what I expect in a Bitter. They serve them a bit cold for an authentic British Pub, but they ar working on it. But a very drinkable brew, well crafted.

Mar 19, 2008 On tap. I guess it was a light almost copper not gold not red. Aroma was just a hint of malt for me. Flavor of semi sweet maltiness and tones of hoppiness on the flavor. Not much of a bitter finish but I’m not sure there should be. A pretty nice refreshing drinker I would recommend to anyone.

aroma and taste, bitter hops with hints of citrus, not overly bitter and keeps some soft malt balance.
I liked their IPA version a lot better.

Mar 13, 2008 Draught at Crown & Goose. Pours hazy orange with bubbly white head. The aroma is toasty with a little bit of spicy hops and some toffee. The flavor is slight caramel sweetness and some toast. Hops are low-profile, but have some lemon and earth qualities. It finishes a touch on the sweet side with just a little bit of grassiness.

Sep 30, 2008 Draft at the Crown & Goose during half price pints and half price fish and chips Mondays. Semi hazy brownish orange color with a slight white head, no retention but some lacing. Nice caramel sweet aromas, some malt graininess, and lemon or citrus zesty hops. Pretty sweet malt body with a great hop bite for a crisp finish.
