Commercial Description:
Arroyo Amber Ale is an American Amber Style Ale inspired by the English Pale Ales. Arroyo Amber Ale contains Carapils, Caramel Malt and a pinch of Chocolate Malt to produce the nutty flavor. The fruity finish and pleasing aroma from Cascade, Nugget and Mt. Hood hops rounds out the flavor profile of this medium brown colored ale.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear brownish amber, minimal head. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel. lightly roasty with firm medium body. Not much here that stands out. Low bitterness. A pedestrian amber.

draft pour, consumed 12/03/07. Informed by the waitress that this beer was brewed for this bar by Craftsman. Clear with no active carbonation. Thin head about a half finger thick stuck around for a while. Indistinct, vague maltiness in aroma. Grainy malt flavor up front with balanced hoppiness bringing up the rear. Aftertaste of corn appears after swallow, lingers on tongue. After beer warmed somewhat, green apple flavor crept in. Flawed and not terribly interesting.

Tap, marked Craftsmen Red. Deep red color with nice off white head. Nice caramel and toffee aroma. Flavor was malty with a mild hop bitterness. Good clean brew.

Clear amber, good head formation. Smoky malt aroma, slightly sour fruit. Dry biscuity malt palate, mild fruitiness, finishes sweet and smooth. Decent generic amber.

Reddish-copper in colour below a disapating head. Thin, non-descript aroma. Sweet malt presence with a good hop aftertaste. Well balanced. Slight butteryness (to style), no off-flavors. Lacking carbonation in appearance but has plenty on the palate. Pleasant, good aftertaste. Medium mouthfell.

Light hazy amber color with a brown tint and a thin white head. Biscuity malty aroma with some caramel. Full malt flavor with caramel. Hop bitterness follows. Sour aftertaste with a bit of vinegar thrown in. Moderate mouthfeel and carbonation.
