Commercial Description:
Mt. Wilson Wheat Beer is a Golden American Wheat style beer with a clean finish that is perfect for the arid climate of Southern California. Inpired by the German Weis beers, Mt. Wilson Wheat Beer is a Krystal Weisen, (a clear wheat beer) produced with 25% Malted Wheat and 75% Two Row Malted Barley. Cluster and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest are responsible for the well balanced hop aroma. Mt. Wilson Wheat Beer proves that it is possible to have a beer that is light in color and refreshing.

On tap @ the Crown City in Pasadena. Poured a light, clear yellow color with a small white head. Light hoppy and ctiric aromas and tastes. Lively body with a dry finish.

Golden yellow (dark urine) colour with NO head (dirty glass?). Aroma of grains and husks. Over-sparged, tannic, grainy and cereal flavor. Little to no hop bitterness. Surprisingly no off-flavors, just lacking. A bit watery with an odd watery aftertaste.

Clear light yellow/gold color with a thin white head (nice lacing). I couldn't detect much in the aroma besides faint honey. Sweet honey flavor with the wheat component having a faint presence. Tangy tartness. A little syrupy. Moderate carbonation. Sweet, oily aftertaste.
