Bottle in the hillborough hotel, sheffield. Alround rating: Its very sweet pale malt, with a good green pepper character, and the alc is really well hidden by this then the chilli kicks in and your like i need something to cool this down, but you continue to drink this beer. Unusual stuff!

[bottle @ RBESG 2009] In the aroma, jalapeno mingles with brown nutty malt and dried fruit. Almost clear reddish dark brown with no head. Thick brown sugar with nuts, dried fruit, and very gentle jalapeno spiciness. Medium body, low carbonation, spicy finish.

[RBESG, Sheffield]
Bottle @ Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield.
Pours clear, deep amber with no real head. Aroma has lots of pepper, some chili, light sweet caramel and a slight raspberry note. Medium carbonation, good creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of sweet caramel, then turns hot with lots of chili burn, then some chocolate to calm the tastebuds. Really nicely done.

Bottle conditioned. Malt and chili in the slightly vinous aroma. Malty sweet flavor, with plums and oily hints of chili. Syrupy mouthfeel. There is some complexity in this brew is there is room for other flavors, next to the pepper.
