Nov 16, 2009 Draft sample at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear brown color with a small beige head. Aroma of raisin, plum, yeast, caramel, roasted malts, hops, and spices. The flavor is mostly plum, raisin, and yeast, with notes of malt, caramel, hops, and pepper. Medium bodied, and not as cloudy in color or thick in body as a lot of dubbels. Smooth and rich, with a little warming alcohol. Nice take on a dubbel from this startup brewer.

Oct 17, 2009 had outtta growler my dad got in ste gen. was very fruity but so so so smooth. i usualy dont like sweet beers but this was an excellent example. had the beer aftertaste that i usually crave. a must try if you have the chance.

Aug 6, 2009 Can’t find much info on this one. Brewery’s website doesn’t list descriptions. Had on tap at Shaved Duck in St. Louis. Plumb and fruit. Decent carbonation. Tasty interpretation of the dubbel.
