Pour is a bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is of pils malts and a little bready. Flavor is again a big time bread with some follow up grassy hops. This is a good attempt but probably not as clean as some pils i have had.

Clear gold with no carbonation to be seen. A soapy white head. This Pils is full of Saaz hop notes and those hops never appeal to me. My rating will reflect that. The hops give a dry bitterness, grain, and some soap. This is quite a bold pilsner but again, those Saaz hops. Some will enjoy and admire this beer for its boldness. Sure wish I liked Saaz hops.

Basic cereal aroma with a touch of citrus. Hazy caramel color with a slight medicinal hops flavor. Clean and smooth tasting, but very carbonated. Overall it’s easy drinking but nothing too exciting to write home about. Shout out to my friend Kim for bringing me a bottle from St. Louis.

Draft sample at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of Euro hops and malts, bread, grass, and straw. Flavor follows suit, leaning toward the bread and malts, with bitter hops late. Light bodied and crisp. Nice take on the style, which is normally held back by a generic Euro skunkiness that isn’t present here.

Pours a pale golden with an ever so slight haziness and a big fluffy white pils head. Aroma is newly mown hay and hop spiciness. A full bodied pilsner flavor presents itself. There’s sweet malt, a delicious breadiness and a little more hop bitterness than you would generally expect, but not overdone. Delicious, thirstquenching and well balanced. Damn fine effort for an upstart micro!

Tasted 9/21/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. Finger width of off-white head. Medium bodied and initially very estery. Lot of berry nuances that fades to cereal grains. Finishes with a pronounced bitterness. Mildly sticky. Quite a good amount of flavor for the style. Solid, if not slightly muddled.

12 ounce bottle shared by CrellMoset. Thanks! Pours a clear golden amber color with a medium head and decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is bread, green apple, pear and other fruits and a dry spicy finish. Taste is leafy, grassy and peppery hops. Apple and other fruit notes and light caramel and toasted grain in the finish. Fairly bitter throughout. Strongly carbonated, medium bodied. Well balanced.

Pours clear and golden with a good sized sturdy dense off-white head. The aroma has clean pils malt, light dough, some spicy hops and a hint of grass. Medium / light body at first, but then it feels a little fuller in the body and finishes crisp with sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with nice maltiness, good hops up front, a touch of soap and a hint of sulfur. The finish is on the grassy side. This is quite enjoyable.
