a shadowy black pour with a beautiful creamy head. very sweet and lactic, light in the mouth but tasty and bouncy, an interesting stout from matt.

Oct 31, 2008 GABF 2008. The full listed name is ’MOB Barley Milk Stout’. Black pour, finger-thick brown bubbly head. Earthy roast aroma, vegetal. Pronounced earthiness and bitter roast flavour, bitter chocolate, rounded out by a smooth lactic sweetness. Very nicely done.

Dec 19, 2006 Pours near black with ruby hues, and a fully receding tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark crystal, and lightly breadiness. Taste is sweet and milky with crystal malt. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. A little thin, but still pretty good.
