Peru beers are pretty much Pilseners for the most part. This one is too, and its not terrible. Right up there with Cristal. They are drinkable. Dont really offer much to the senses though. Cheap though.
The value is good, and I prefer Cusquena over Cristal, the other fairly local Pilsener.

Nov 28, 2009 gold/yellow with a white head. nose is thick with sweet malts. decent on the palate with the heavy malt abortion and a semi nice finish.

Nov 17, 2009 Bottle. Had this one on a trip to Myrtle Beach. Just an average Latin American beer. Same as Cuzco, with a different name. Was really good on the beach though. It was ice good and watery and it was good on a hot day.

Sep 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours an orange body with a white head. Malted corn, vegetative, cardboard and paper notes. Crisp apple and a dry mildly bitter finish. Crisp and thin. Eh not so bad.

Sep 12, 2009 11.20z bottle: pint glass:.... 11.2?! come on now, you guys couldn’t splurge for the extra .8?! Pours a dark straw almost amber, foams up nice leaving leaves a thin film of head. Nose is mostly metallic. Taste is absolutely god awful! Actual piss with lots of malt... kill me please.
