PilsnerPeter (1376), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 22, 2008 Bottle: Hazy orange with a white film. Brett filled aroma. Tons of leather, lemon juice and mild funk. Body is crisp and brett-y. Lemon rind and solid acidity. Has an underlying Lambic quality that’s very cleansing. Bone dry finish. Not the most complex, but still nice stuff.

It’s basically Rodenbach "Vin De Cereale" only, you can find it. Poured a medium and hazy amberish color with a small sized head. Aromas of citrus, a little musty, earthy, and frutiy. Tastes of citrus. fruity, floral, and the same musty funk. Aroma was musty, a big earthy, citrus, caramel, notes, some cherry, floral and funky. Really solid nose! Flavor of sour cherry, funky., musty with a citrus overtone. Hazy amber-brown color, tiny head. Earthy sour cherry aroma. Very dry, sour cherry flavor, delicious acidic fruity finish, some earthy notes. Very dry, tart and fruity. Long citrus-like aftertaste. Tastes less than 7 %. Nicely balanced lambic.
